A renovation that cohesively follows the home’s feature design direction
The recently renovated kitchen had changed the standard of the Victorian terrace, leaving the existing bathroom and laundry feeling disconnected from the rest of the home.
The clients could see how much the original bathroom and laundry now interrupted the look and function of their Victorian terrace.
They wanted the next stage to feel like a natural continuation of the home. The bathroom needed greater refinement, the laundry needed to handle daily tasks properly, and a new powder room would make the house more convenient for guests.
The challenge was to introduce a higher level of finish without making the new rooms feel detached from the age and character of the terrace.
Giving each room a clearer role
The bathroom was redesigned as a more considered space for everyday use. The laundry was organised around practical storage and household tasks, while the new powder room gave visitors their own convenient facility.
Working directly with the owners, One Stop Renovate resolved the layouts, fixtures, materials and building requirements across all three rooms.
This carried the standard established by the renovated kitchen into the home’s other hard-working spaces without repeating the same design in every room.
The bathroom, laundry and powder room needed to continue the quality of the kitchen while still belonging within the original home.
Stone and tapware set the material tone
Hand-selected natural stone was used for the benchtop and feature wall, giving the renovation natural variation and a strong focal point.
Nero tapware added a precise contemporary detail against the stone and surrounding finishes.
The completed Armadale renovation now feels more complete. The bathroom has the refinement the clients were missing, the laundry is easier to use, and the powder room adds practical value for guests while sitting comfortably within the Victorian terrace.
